The WFIS is registered with the United Nations Organization as a non-governmental youth organization (NGO) and we want to have a team with young people that create and promote activities on each Region or/and Worldwide that are related to the activities proposed by the United Nations (https://www.un.org/en/civil-
Who is part of the WFIS Youth Committee ? The WFIS Youth Committee is made up of Scouts between 18 and 32 years old, who belong to members of each of the regions.
The WFIS Youth Committee is responsible for proposing, defining and promoting the activities designed by this own team. The activities are aligned with the topics of the United Nations and related to the Scouting values.
The activities proposed can be carried out by local Scouts groups, Associations and Regions, knowing that each association, country and region has it own identities, needs and characteristics that are different from others and that is why we have put together a list of activities that each WFIS member may or may not follow and of course each member is free to define an activity by their own.
