Dear Brothers and Sisters in Scouting,
The World Council of the WFIS wish you and all your Scouts and Guides a
“HAPPY THINKINGDAY AND HAPPY FOUNDERSDAY”
We as traditional Scouts and Guides will celebrate this day to remember the Founder of Scouting, Robert Stephenson Smith Baden Powell – Lord of Gilwell, and his wife Lady Olave St.Clair, former World Chief Guide.
All of us will use this day to remember why we are in traditional scouting, to run a „Penny action” and support with this good deed our brothers and sisters in Scouting and Guiding around the World. Take this day as a start for our 7 million Good Deeds for all who has less fortune in life and do need our support and help.
Let us celebrate together the true spirit of traditional scouting, keep the flame of scouting alive and hand it over to all our young brothers and sisters in our Federation. Bear in mind that “Together we are strongest” and together we can overcome all difficulties.
It is a day where we are all feel united when all Scouts and Guides are celebrating this annual 165. Birthday of our Founder Lord Baden Powell and the 133. Birthday of Lady Olave.
We are wishing you health, peace, friendship and a wonderful time with your Scouts and Guides.
