Dear Brothers and Sisters in Scouting all over the World
The World Council of the WFIS wish you and all your Scouts and Guides a
“Happy Thinkingday, Happy Foundersday”
Together we want to remember the Founder of Scouting, Robert Stephenson Smith Baden Powell – Lord of Gilwell, and his wife Lady Olave St. Clair.
We would like to use today to maintain a scouting tradition and create a Penny Action to support our scout brothers and sisters who are currently less fortunate than us.
When you celebrate today’s day of remembrance with your Scouts, remember our Scout brothers and sisters who continue to live with hunger, war, or natural disasters.
Use this day, to feel united in our federation, when all our Scouts and Guides are celebrating this annual 167. Birthday of our Founder Lord Baden Powell and the 135. Birthday of Lady Olave.
We wish you peace, friendship and a great time with your Scouts and Guides.
